Sonatide for Windows

Get early access to Sonatide on Windows. You can just use the app - testing and feedback are optional.

Install

Download Sonatide-Setup.exe and run it. The installer puts Sonatide into your user folder and adds it to the Start menu; no administrator rights are needed.

The installer is not code-signed, so Windows shows a SmartScreen warning the first time: choose More info, then Run anyway. The warning is about the missing signature, not about what the app does; updates come through the app and do not ask again.

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.

Updates

Sonatide checks for updates when it starts and downloads a new version in the background. When one is ready, Profile -> About -> “Restart to update” installs it; if you skip it, the update installs itself the next time you open the app. There is nothing to download by hand after the first install.

Signing in

Google and Apple sign-in open in your browser: the page on sonatide.app completes the sign-in and hands it back to the app. Email sign-in works inside the app.

If something feels wrong, write to hello@sonatide.app; the Support page says what to include. To remove the app, use Apps -> Installed apps in Windows Settings like for any other program.
